  AZTEC, N.M. (AP) — A former Farmington police officer has been acquitted of rape and child molestation charges.
  The Farmington Daily Times reports that Richard Emmert Jr. was found not guilty Friday on all counts in a bench trial in Aztec.
  The 26-year-old was accused of sexually assaulting two female relatives several years ago before he was a police officer.
  His attorney, Mitch Burns, says they were thankful to the judge.

  This is in Bernalillo County, but Rio Rancho police are involved. A small sedan was wrecked.
  Police are not providing anymore information at this time.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A two year old child is fighting for their life, after being thrown from a car during a bizarre crash Saturday morning. Police say the woman driving admitted to drinking very heavily beforehand.
