  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – A crash in northeast Albuquerque sent two vehicles into a building.
  It happened around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at the St. Vincent de Paul Society thrift shop near Menaul and Washington.
  KRQE News 13 was told a driver in his late 40’s may have had some type of medical episode when he drove through the parking lot and then struck a parked car. That caused both vehicles to crash into the building.

  CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) – A woman had to be rescued after driving her car over the edge of a Carlsbad road and then falling into a steep gorge.
  It happened late Tuesday night near the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. The Current Argus reports it took rescue crews 30 minutes to get her out.
  The woman, who is in her 40s, was hospitalized.
  It’s still unclear what caused her to go off the road.

  Police say Joseph Maestas had four outstanding felony warrants out for his arrest and he was taken into custody earlier Wednesday. Police have not yet said what the warrants were for but did say that Maestas had heroin with him on Wednesday. Maestas tried fleeing his arrest on foot.

  LAS CRUCES (KRQE) – A man has been arrested for allegedly groping two teen girls at a bus stop.
  Police say 50-year-old Derrick McDaniel was kicked out of a Subway in Las Cruces on Tuesday for yelling inappropriate comments to other customers. After leaving the restaurant, police say McDaniel sat down between a 14-year-old and 16-year-old girl at a bus stop, commented on their looks and then groped them both.
