  Officers tried arresting 26-year-old Augustine Carrillo-Ortiz last Thursday near El Mana Mini Mart in El Cerro mission.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – On Friday, Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry signed off on a 6% pay raise for Albuquerque Police Department officers.
  It all stemmed from a lawsuit by the police union after the Berry administration broke a deal that former Mayor Martin Chavez had made with the union.
  As a result, officer pay was cut in the wake of a budget crunch.

  It caught fire Thursday night in a neighborhood near Isleta and Rio Bravo.
  The Bernalillo County Fire Department says a 72-year-old woman and her husband were sent to the hospital. The woman was found unconscious. She’s being treated for smoke inhalation and burns.
