  SANTA FE (KRQE) – Santa Fe police are investigating a shooting at a pawn shop.
  Police say a robbery call came in around noon at Pawn City on Cerrillos Road.
  When officers arrived, they found one person shot. That person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
  Police are investigating if the person shot was a victim or the suspect.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Police says they’ve recovered the vehicle used in the murder of a homeowner who tried to stop two thieves. William McKinley, 55, was stabbed to death last month when confronted two men breaking into his truck in the driveway of his Foothills home.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The solider who died at Fort Hood over the weekend was from Clovis. Military officials say they found 35-year-old Devin Lee Schuette’s body in a vehicle near the Belton Lake Outdoor recreation area.
  Schuette joined the Army in 1999 and worked his way up to become an intelligence analyst. He served several tours in Iraq.

  ALBUQUERQUE (AP) – New Mexico is maintaining a trend of declining teen birth rates.
  The state Department of Health announced Wednesday that vital records show an overall 57 percent drop between 2000 and 2014 for teens 15-17 years old giving birth.
  Records also show a 35 percent decrease of teen birth rates for 15-19 year olds in that same period.
  The state’s decrease in the rate of 15-19 year olds giving birth in 2014 has brought New Mexico down from leading the national rate.
