Officers investigating an assault in a Long Eaton street have issued CCTV images of a man they would like to trace. The attack happened at 8.20pm on Wednesday, April 6. A 27-year-old man, of Long Eaton, was walking along College Street towards Canal Street when he was approached by a man who swore at him, pushed him and grabbed him by the throat. The A52 has now reopened after a lorry spilled it loads on Thursday morning. The driver of the lorry was taken to hospital following the crash, which happened between Wheatcroft and Nottingham Knight islands, shortly after 5am.
