    Their name sounds adolescent, their masks are iridescent, but there's no doubt that Mushroomhead are a quality band that transcend notions of both naivete and gimmickry. The essence of this group, personnel changes notwithstanding, is a dedication to both their musical prowess and their performance. As pioneers of the masked metal aesthete since the early nineties, these guys, originating in Ohio, are the quintessential exponents of the so-called 'smaller venue' act.
