  Hillingdon Council has approved plans which will see a brand new M&S superstore open in South Ruislip, right on the edge of the Harrow borough boundary and a short distance from South Harrow and Northolt Road.
  The new flagship store will open in place of The Range in Victoria Retail Park which is set to close. This marks a return to South Ruislip for the retailer after closing down their Ruislip High Street branch in 2018.

• Chemist Warehouse confirms plans for Harrow Town Centre store

  A major Australian pharmacy chain is preparing to open a new store in Harrow Town Centre, taking over the former B&Q Local unit on St Anns Road.
  Chemist Warehouse branding has now appeared across the windows at 40-44 St Anns Road, with signs telling shoppers that “Australia’s favourite pharmacy” is opening soon.

• Traditional Navratri celebrations to return to Harrow this October

  A major Navratri celebration is returning to Harrow this October, with ten nights of traditional music, dancing, worship and community activities planned at Byron Hall.
  The event is organised by the International Siddhashram Shakti Centre, which is based in Wealdstone and has been part of the local community for more than 25 years. This year’s celebrations will run from Saturday 10 October to Tuesday 20 October at Harrow Leisure Centre, with doors opening at 7pm and the main programme star
