    GRIDLEY (CBS13) – Authorities in Butte County are looking for a man suspected of trying to kidnap a woman in Gridley.
    The incident happened Monday around 10 a.m. According to the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, a 20-year-old woman was driving on Highway 99 when she pulled into an orchard to check the air pressure in one of her tires.

  • Raley’s Pharmacy Suffers Data Breach After Laptop Stolen

    WEST SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A data breach at Raley’s has compromised the medical information of 10,000 pharmacy customers.
    The breach happened after a pharmacy laptop was stolen.
    Names, birthdates, medical conditions and health plans – along with other information – may now be in the wrong hands.
    Raley’s says it’s now encrypting all pharmacy laptops.

  • Police: Suspicious Car Reported Near Lodi Walmart, 30 Grams Of Ecstasy Found Inside

    LODI (CBS13) – A 24-year-old man is under arrest after police say he was found slumped over in a car full of drugs.
    Lodi police say officers responded near the Walmart along South Lower Sacramento Road Sunday night to investigate a report of a suspicious car. The driver was reported to be laying over the steering wheel.

  • 3 Dogs Die In Early Morning Stockton House Fire

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – An early morning Stockton house fire is now a crime scene.
    When fire crews arrived just after 4:30 a.m. Monday, they found the home on North Lincoln Street engulfed in flames.
    A woman was able to get out safely, but her three dogs died in the fire.
    Firefighters are investigating exactly what caused the fire.
    Authorities are now saying the area is a crime scene investigation, but haven’t given the reason why yet.

  • Man, 24, Suspected Of Intentionally Setting His Mother’s Stockton Home On Fire

    STOCKTON (CBS13) – The latest on the investigation into a house fire in Stockton on Monday:
    2:01 p.m.
    Investigators say a 24-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of intentionally starting the fire.
    The man, Zachary Hunt, is facing four charges – including attempted homicide.
    Investigators say the house that burned belonged to Hunt’s mother.
    Three dogs died in the fire. Hunt is facing charges of attempted homicide, cruelty to animals, arson and resisting arrest.

  • Witnesses Recount Shooting That Injured Two In Roseville Shopping Center

    ROSEVILLE (CBS13) — Police are still investigating a shooting in Roseville. The shooting happened Saturday night at about 11:30 p.m. outside of the Dave & Busters at the Fountains at Roseville shopping center, forcing some people to take cover inside a closet.

    FAIR OAKS (CBS13) — An investigation is underway into a hanging black baby doll that was found inside the girls’ locker room at Del Campo High School.
    A concerned family member says the doll was found in the locker room on October 19.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Members of the Jewish community came together Sunday to pray and remember the victims of the Tree of Life synagogue shooting rampage near Pittsburgh.

    GIBSON RANCH (CBS13) — Gibson Ranch held their annual pumpkin festival Sunday thanks to community members across Sacramento.
