• More Than 500 Gallons Of Diesel Spills After Work Crew Hits Line In Roseville

  ROSEVILLE (CBS13) – Hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel was spilled near a Union Pacific track in Roseville on Friday.
  The Roseville Fire Department says a construction crew was out along the track near Atlantic Street and Tiger Way when they struck a four-inch diesel line.
  More than 500 gallons of diesel fuel spilled into the soil, Roseville Fire says.
  A third party clean-up crew is now at the scene Friday afternoon for mop-up work.

• Police Giving Out Replacement Candy To Kids After Metal Objects Found In Halloween Treats

  OAKDALE (CBS13) – Police officers are making sure tampered candy doesn’t ruin an Oakdale neighborhood’s memory of Halloween this year.
  Investigators say parents in the city’s Burchell neighborhood turned over chocolate candy their children had reportedly collected on Halloween. The candy, which was commercially produced, had small metal objects inside.
  After ruling out a manufacturing error, Oakdale police came to the conclusion the candy had been tampered with.

• 2 Men Wanted In Violent Attack, Robbery Of North Highlands Liquor Store Clerk

  NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) – Detectives are asking for help in finding the men who violently attacked a liquor store clerk during a robbery.
  The incident happened back on Oct. 4. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department says three men walked into the Boss Liquor store along Watt Avenue that day and attacked the clerk.

• Motorcyclist Killed, Second Rider Hurt In Crash On I-80

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – A motorcyclist has died in a crash on Interstate 80 in Sacramento early Friday morning.
  According to California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 12:30 a.m. in the eastbound direction of I-80 near Longview Drive.
  Officers say two motorcyclists were involved – one was killed, the other has major injuries.
  Eastbound lanes were shut down following the crash; they were reopened just after 3 a.m.

  SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – Four small earthquakes a few minutes apart shook farmland and wilderness in northern San Benito County, east of Monterey Bay. There are no reports of damages or injuries

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – It’s that time of year to lace up your ice skates and glide around the Downtown Sacramento ice rink.
  Opening ceremonies are at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Park

  STOCKTON (CBS13) — Stockton police are on the hunt for a suspect who attacked a group of trick-or-treaters on Halloween and assaulted the man trying to protect them.

  ANTELOPE (CBS13)  — A man was arrested in Burbank for a woman’s murder six hours after she was found dead in a gas station parking lot.
  Miguel Romo, 38, was arrested after he was involved in a crash on Interstate 210 near Hubbard Street. A check of Romo’s license plate matched one from a homicide on Antelope Road in Sacramento County earlier that morning.
