• Second Suspect in Fruitridge Double Homicide Arrested

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13)- Homicide detectives arrested 21-year-old Richard Jefferson Saterfield of Sacramento for the murders of 19-year-old Daniel Murti and 15-year-old Sergio Murti.
    The murder occurred Thursday afternoon on Fruitridge Road.
    According to Sacramento Sheriff Department, Saterfield turned himself into homicide detectives.
    On Friday, 20-year-old Hieu Hoang was arrested on the same charges and booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Gov. Jerry Brown is seeking an unlikely ally in his bid to create a high-speed train line between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

  • Undocumented Workers Detained Before Work At Travis Air Force Base

    FAIRFIELD (CBS13) — Two undocumented workers are in custody tonight after being detained by ICE agents at Travis Air Force Base, where they were checking through security to do construction work.
    A spokesperson at Travis Air Force Base says the arrests came following visitor protocol. They have every visitor show their ID and Social Security number at a security checkpoint.
