    Person Of Interest Identified In Deadly Attack At Highlands High School Track
    NORTH HIGHLANDS (CBS13) – A person arrested under suspicion of assaulting an elderly woman is being investigated as a person of interest in the homicide at the Highlands High School track.
    The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department says they arrested the 18-year-old man later Wednesday afternoon after an incident near Fair Oaks Boulevard and Howe Avenue. In that incident, deputies say a woman was assaulted in an unprovoked attack.

    Sections Of Highway 160 Slated For Overnight Closures
    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Sections of Highway 160 in North Sacramento will be partially closed at night during the spring and summer months for repairs.
    The highway runs from Richards Boulevard in downtown Sacramento to the Capitol City Freeway near Arden Way.
    Crews will grind down the top layer of the roadway to smooth it out.
    The work will happen between 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
    Some on and off ramps will see closures due to the work.
