    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – The Sacramento Fire Department received a call at 9:45 am of a commercial structure fire on 16th and J streets in Downtown Sacramento.
    Upon arrival, firefighters found a car repair shop in the area with heavy smoke and fire.
    According to Sacramento Fire officials, the repair shop was unoccupied at the time.

    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California water officials say three construction contractors have submitted bids to fix Oroville Dam’s two damaged spillways.
    The Department of Water Resources said a brief statement released Saturday that the bids are higher than its estimate of $220 million.
