    California Firms Get $91 Million In Tax Breaks
    SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — A California economic development board has approved an $8 million tax credit for General Motors to expand its autonomous vehicle division in San Francisco.
    The GM tax credit was one of 114 approved Thursday by the California Competes board. The companies were given $91 million in exchange for promises to hire more than 8,200 people.
    GM plans to hire more than 1,100 people to work on developing autonomous vehicle software, testing vehicles and supporting functions

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The body of a Sacramento State graduate missing since Tuesday has been found in Placer County.
    Janet Mejia was reported missing on Tuesday when she was on the way to a doctor’s appointment in Stockton. Deputies discovered her car a day later. Investigators found she had left her family’s home in Stockton on Monday and was scheduled to work at Nordstrom’s in Roseville that afternoon.

    SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A dog who went missing and had been adopted to a new family has been reunited with its owner.
    Alec Nygard and Rosemary were reunited at the Sacramento County animal shelter on Friday.
    Rosemary was adopted out after she was found a long ways from home with no microchip or identification. Because she seemed to be a stray, she was adopted out after 72 hours, according to shelter policy.
