  A strong wave of storms blew through the Sacramento region on Tuesday morning, dumping copious amounts of rain throughout the area.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Deputies have arrested a man and a woman in connection with the killing of a woman at Sacramento motel.
  Just before midnight on Sunday, 911 dispatchers received the report of a gunshot coming from a room at the Surf Motel in the 3200 block of Auburn Boulevard. Deputies went to the motel, and canvassed the area, searching for the source of the disturbance.   LINCON (CBS13) – Lincoln police are asking for the public’s help to identify an alleged purse snatcher who was caught on camera in Walmart.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – Slick roads are being blamed for an early morning rollover crash in Sacramento.
  It happened around 2 a.m. near Northgate Boulevard off of eastbound Interstate 80.
  CHP says three people were in the car — two in their 40’s one in their 20’s. The two passengers received minor injuries in this crash. The driver was OK.

  For the first time Stockton will host the NCAA women’s basketball tournament that’s set to draw thousands to the city.
