  Shani, the zoo’s six-year-old Masai giraffe, gave birth on Sunday morning to a healthy 163-pound male calf. The newborn doesn’t seem to have a name yet.

  SACRAMENTO (CBS13) – For the first time in nearly 100 years, the cost of mailing a letter is a little cheaper.
  The price of a regular stamp dropped from $.49 to $.47 on Sunday.  The decrease comes after the U.S. Postal Service was forced to drop a surcharge put in place to help close a huge deficit due to the Great Recession.
