    MOUNT BROSS, Colo (CBS4) – Two hikers were able to locate and rescue a dog stranded on one of Colorado’s 14’ers.

    Chloe wandered away from her owners six weeks ago. A Facebook group formed to try to find the 13-year old dog. Hikers reported hearing a dog crying high up on Mount Bross, which is part of the Mosquito Range.

    ALMA, Colo. (CBS4) – A miraculous story of survival has invaded the small-town streets of Alma. A network of hikers helped save a 14-year-old dog from a treacherous 14er mountainside, after it ran away from home six weeks prior.
    Larry Osborne said his dog, Chloe, was returned to him well after he accepted the idea that she was deceased.
    “I was not optimistic at all,” Osborne told CBS4’s Dillon Thomas.

    CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo (CBS4) – Wintry weather has closed the road to Mount Evans. The last section of the road that leads to the peak closed today. CDOT closed parts of the road over the last few weeks.
    Snow is rolling through Mt Evans, officially closing this scenic byway for the season to vehicles. Folks can still park and walk up the mtn.

    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – A landlord caught on video having sex in a tenant’s bed was sentenced Friday morning to two years in prison.

    INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (CBS4) – A man believed to be the “Double Hat Bandit” was arrested in a motel parking lot here Thursday.
    Shayne Carson, 54, is thought to be responsible for at least 18 bank robberies in seven states, including Colorado.
    He surrendered without incident to FBI and local police in Whiteland, Indiana.
