    WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (CBS4) – Krispy Kreme is launching a special donut just in time for this month’s solar eclipse.
    To celebrate, the original glaze donut will be covered in a chocolate coating.

    HOUSTON (CBS4) – United Airlines is apologizing after a family’s dog died on a flight.
    The 5-year-old King Charles Spaniel was in the cargo hold when he was found dead.
    The flight from Houston to San Francisco was originally delayed because of weather.
    During that delay, the family says there was a problem with the air conditioning in the cabin.

    Lyft will now be available in several areas in the mountains, including ski resorts.

    CLEVELAND (AP) — Charlie Blackmon homered in the 12th inning, atoning for a baserunning blunder and lifting the Colorado Rockies over the Cleveland Indians 3-2 on Wednesday.
    With Colorado trailing 2-1, Blackmon singled leading off the eighth and was running on the pitch when DJ LeMahieu fouled a ball to the right side. Second baseman Jason Kipnis caught the ball on the warning track with his back to home plate, spun and threw to pitcher Joe Smith, who was covering first.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A man has been charged with murder after police say he intentionally ran down another man with a stolen truck.
    Denver Police say 26-year-old Eric Ukuni stole a red truck after carjacking the owner in Commerce City.Ukuni then, allegedly, fled from police before crashing at 40th Avenue and Havana Street.
