    Search For Missing Person At Great Sand Dunes
    ALAMOSA, Colo. (CBS4)– A search is underway for someone missing at the Great Sand Dunes National Park.Helicopters, park staff and search dogs have joined in the rescue effort.
    Rangers noticed a car had been parked in a lot along the Medano Pass primitive road since May 7.
    They called for a search on Monday. The search area includes going through 14 square miles of rugged terrain in the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness Area.Crews have not identified who they are searching for.

    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– A family in Aurora is heartbroken after a judge granted freedom to an inmate, who was released early, only to have him taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

    DENVER (CBS4)– Denver Police Officer John Adsit said goodbye to his career as a police officer on Wednesday.
    On Dec. 3 2014, Adsit was on his bicycle escorting East High School students during a protest when he was almost killed by a driver who suffered a seizure. Three other officers were also struck in the crash.
