    BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — The Dakota Access pipeline and a feeder line leaked more than 100 gallons of oil in North Dakota in separate incidents in March as crews prepared the disputed $3.8 billion pipeline for operation.

    ST. LOUIS (AP) — The newest addition to the St. Louis Zoo is a critically endangered black rhino.
    The boy calf named Moyo was born Wednesday. The zoo announced the birth Monday and says he is nursing well and bonding with his mother.It’s just the second black rhino born at the zoo in the past 26 years. Zookeepers aren’t yet saying when he’ll make his public debut.

    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A man is dead after a stabbing at an Aurora apartment building.
    The stabbing happened Sunday night at Cherry Grove East near East Ellsworth Avenue and South Sable Boulevard east of Interstate 225.

    DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police in Denver revealed more details about an incident where an officer was shot in an exchange with a man who was reportedly suicidal.
    The Denver police officer is recovering after he was shot by the man.
    Family members said that the suspect, Brandon Girwing, 22, who lives at the home in 2800 block of South Quitman Street in Denver’s Harvey Park South neighborhood, had been on the phone with his girlfriend who was worried and called police.

    Police said that a family member called authorities to the home near the 1900 block of Gordon Court around 11:25 a.m. Saturday.
