    DENVER (AP) – The Republican sponsor of a bill to save a Colorado energy agency added some elements enticing to Democrats and secured a high-ranking Democratic House co-sponsor, raising prospects that the office will be renewed in one form or another.

    On May 4, a woman who was a passenger in a vehicle was shot in the leg while traveling southbound on Interstate 25 between 58th Avenue and 20th Street.

    PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) — Authorities have shut down two illegal marijuana growing operations in southern Colorado.
    The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office says it arrested 16 people and seized an estimated 250 pounds of marijuana and 128 illegal marijuana plants from two separate operations discovered Monday on opposite sides of the county.
    It says the seized marijuana has an estimated street value of about $500,000.
