    Copter4 flew over the fire that was putting out a large volume of smoke in the 10300 block of East Inspiration Drive.

    A new University of Colorado Boulder study published in the Journal of Sleep Research shows preschoolers consume more calories when they don’t get enough sleep.
    On average it amounts to 20 percent more calories and 25 percent more sugar.

    DENVER (CBS4) – A man wanted in a 1989 murder in Mesa County is now in custody.
    Police arrested 67-year-old Rafael Garcia in Denver. They say he shot and killed Charles Porter in Palisade.

    SAN DIEGO (CBS4) — Broncos wide receiver Cody Latimer sustained a concussion on Thursday in San Diego and will miss the rest of the game.
    Latimer was checked for a concussion after he left the game late in the second quarter, according to DenverBroncos.com, and it turned out he did have one.
    It wasn’t immediately clear if Latimer was hurt during a special teams play in which his helmet was knocked off on a hit while he was covering a kickoff.
