• Prosecutors Considers Death Penalty In Killing Of Doctor

  ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – The prosecution is considering seeking the death penalty in the case of a man accused of shooting his wife and two neighbors, one of whom was killed.
  The arraignment for Kevin Lyons, 46, was continued on Friday. Last month, a judge in Arapahoe County Court deemed him competent to stand trial, despite his outbursts in court and vocal opposition to his public defenders.

  DENVER (CBS4)– Police continue to search for a woman wanted in a bank robbery. The woman robbed the 1stBank at 29th and Quebec in Denver earlier this week.

  DENVER (AP) — Authorities say five Denver jail inmates were hospitalized after overdosing on crack cocaine.
  Sheriff department spokesman Simon Crittle said investigators believe an inmate brought the drug into the downtown jail through an intake area.
  Crittle says five men were hospitalized after the Thursday incident. One has since been returned to jail.
