  EAGLE, Colo. (CBS4) – A woman accused in a series of bank thefts using a credit card fraud scam across western Colorado has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
  According to Assistant District Attorney Heidi McCollum with the 5th Judicial District, Cynthia Johnson, 53, stole the identities of two women and used the identities to commit the crimes.

  DENVER (CBS4)– Firefighters rushed to put out a house fire in Denver on Monday afternoon.Fire crews rushed to the home at 4501 E.   NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A Nashville judge has dismissed pop star Taylor Swift as a potential juror in an aggravated rape and kidnapping case.
  Davidson County District Attorney General’s Office spokesman Ken Whitehouse says Swift told the judge on Monday that she was concerned because of an upcoming trial in Denver involving allegations she was groped by a fan at a meet-and-greet.

  COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) – Heavy rain is causing flooding in and around Colorado Springs.
  The National Weather Service says a thunderstorm dropped up to two inches of rain in the city Monday afternoon before weakening. The runoff is expected to cause flooding of small creeks and streams.

  Officers rushed to the home in the 100 block of South Knox Court near W. Cedar Avenue shortly after midnight Sunday on reports of a shooting.
