    DENVER (CBS4) – Traffic was slowed Thursday morning when a motorcycle crashed on Interstate 25 south of Denver.
    It happened at approximately 6 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-25 near the County Line Road exit.
    A witnesses said the motorcyclist was down in the middle of the interstate, and traffic was at a complete standstill as of 6:15 a.m. for the northbound lanes of travel.

    Homeowner & Dog Escape House Fire In Evergreen
    EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS4) – The owner of a home was able to escape with his dog after it went up in flames Thursday morning.
    Firefighters received the call just before midnight of flames that were visible from a mile and a half away.
    Four departments and 40 firefighters responded to the scene and quickly put out the fire. Water had to be brought in as there were no hydrants in the area.
    Ice was the main threat to firefighters after dousing the home in water.

    DENVER (CBS4) – Westwood College is closing its doors.
    The career college with two campuses in the Denver area had previously announced it was not accepting any more students. Now it says it will shut down in March after this semester.
    Students were informed they should choose another school by mid-February if they want to continue with a partner school.
