  LARKSPUR, Colo. (CBS4) – Three people and two dogs escaped safely after their home was engulfed in fire early Wednesday morning. Strong winds, cold and ice hampered firefighting efforts to extinguish the blaze.

  DENVER (CBS4)– A cement truck rolled over under the Interstate 25 overpass on University Boulevard on Wednesday afternoon.
  The cement truck rolled and spilled cement. Police closed southbound lanes of University Boulevard and rerouted traffic onto I-25. The road reopened just before 5 p.m.

  PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) – An anonymous donor wants to help a World War II paratrooper dying of cancer spend his last days with his wife in a Colorado nursing home that is not approved by the Veterans Administration.

  CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – A repeat sex offender found guilty of a robbery and attempted sexual assault on a 72-year-old Littleton woman learned his sentence this week.
  According to the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Terron Lamar Guy, 31, of Littleton, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the incident that occurred last April.

  DENVER (CBS4)– Police in Denver hope to track down a robbery and carjacking suspect with a splint on his pinky finger.
  Officers say the man pictured carjacked a vehicle from 1455 Delgany Street about 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday. The suspect sped away from the area and left the vehicle near 17th and Tremont.
