    9-Year-Old Boy Accidentally Shot In Head By Younger Brother Dies
    AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A 9-year-old boy who was accidentally shot in the head while playing with a loaded gun with his younger brother has died.
    The shooting happened on Jan. 5 in Trinidad inside a car parked at the Sparks Natural Gas station on Goddard Street. Investigators say the boys found a loaded gun in the car and it went off while the boys younger brother was playing with it.
    The boy was flown to Children’s Hospital where he was removed from life support over the weekend

    The closure will occur along northbound I-25 between U.S. 36 and 84th Avenue from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Access will also be restricted to northbound I-25 from westbound I-270, eastbound U.S. 36 and eastbound I-76.

    EVERGREEN, Colo. (CBS4) – A large home in Evergreen was fully engulfed by fire early Monday morning. It began at approximately 5:30 a.m. at a home on Aspen Drive near Interstate 70.
    Both the Evergreen Fire Rescue and Clear Creek County Foothills Fire Department assisted in fighting the flames.
    Nearly 15 fire trucks were on scene, most of which carried water due to the lack of hydrants in the area.

    DENVER (CBS4) – One person is in custody after a shooting outside the Super 8 Motel near West 26th Avenue and Zuni Street.
    The victim had unspecified injuries but is expected to survive. Police caught up with the suspect at West 28th Avenue and Clay Street. Two cars, a grey sedan and red Hummer, were searched and towed from the scene.
    West 26th Avenue was closed near the motel for a short time as officers filled the parking lot, but has been reopened.
