• Building Housing Live Ammunition Catches Fire In Denver

  DENVER (CBS4) – Crews battled a fire overnight in Denver that happened at a building that was full of live ammunition.
  The fire broke out at the Denver Bullet Company on 13th Avenue near Interstate 25. Firefighters say it started outside in a shed but the flames quickly spread inside.

  Police believe that Darius Eugene Ratcliff, 19, was the gunman. Ratcliff is described as a black male, 5-foot-9, 150 pounds, black hair with brown eyes. He is considered armed and dangerous.

  BRIGHTON, Colo. (CBS4) – A family in Brighton woke up to their house on fire early Sunday morning.
  The fire broke out just before 2:30 a.m. at the home located near 140th Way and Umpire Street. Firefighters say there aren’t any hydrants in the area so they had to bring in a water shuttle.

• Man Critical After Being Pulled From Palmer Lake

  PALMER LAKE, Colo. (CBS4) – A 70-year-old man is in critical condition after being pulled from Palmer Lake in  El Paso County Friday night.
  Firefighters and police responded to the call just after 7 p.m. The man was rescued on the southwest side of the lake.
  Fire officials are not saying how the man ended up in the water or how long he was there.

  PUEBLO, Colo. (CBS4) – A judge in Pueblo has ruled that there is enough evidence to try the man suspected of stabbing his girlfriend to death.
  Joseph Romero, 56, turned himself in for the murder of Phenia Martinez, 25, on January 16.
