(CBS4)– Police in Fountain found a gun in a high school classroom and took a student into custody.According to The Gazette, a student had a 9mm gun in a classroom at Fountain-Fort Carson High School on Tuesday morning.Fountain is located just south of Colorado Springs.School administrators received a tip about the weapon and removed the student and gun from class. • Crews Battling Wildfire Burning On The Eastern Plains

  DEER TRAIL, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters battled a wildfire that broke out Tuesday afternoon on the Eastern Plains north of the town of Deer Trail.
  The fire burned well under 100 acres near Highway 36 at mile marker 119.
  Firefighters from Byers, Deer Trail and Strasburg fought the fire.

  GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (CBS4) – Police on the Western Slope say someone stole three guns from inside the Museum of the West on Monday.
  Shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to a glass break alarm at the museum located at 462 Ute Avenue. The Museum of the West is a part of the Museums of Western Colorado.

  DENVER (AP) — A man who set off a small explosion near the NAACP office in Colorado Springs earlier this year is scheduled to be sentenced Tuesday in Denver federal court.
