    Flags on state buildings are being flown at half-staff in honor of the North Metro firefighter Craig Moilanen on Friday. A memorial service was held for the 36-year-old earlier in the day in Littleton.

    Double Shooting At Apartment Becomes Homicide Investigation
    DENVER (CBS4) – Denver police announced Friday at 10 a.m. that one of two victims in a shooting had been pronounced dead.
    The shooting happened Thursday night at the Spyglass Hill apartments on East Mississippi Avenue. Two people were transported from the scene to the hospital, where one was pronounced. The other victim remains in critical condition.
    Neighbors in the apartment said it sounded like someone was being kicked around.

    BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Police have arrested a man suspected in dozens of burglaries in Boulder. In many cases people were home and sleeping at the time of the crimes.
    The crimes date back to April and police say the suspect also hit homes in the Denver metro area.

    JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters on Thursday were at the scene of the North Hogback Fire to mop up hot spots, and part of that involved water drops from a helicopter.

    Investigators were also there trying to find out what started Wednesday’s grass fire, which prompted warnings to homeowners to prepare to evacuate.
