    WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. (AP) – Aer Lingus has announced it’s establishing nonstop service between Dublin and Bradley International Airport serving Connecticut and western Massachusetts.
    The Irish airline, Gov. Dannel P. Malloy and other state officials announced Tuesday the September 2016 start of the service. It’s the first trans-Atlantic service since Northwest Airlines halted flights between Connecticut and Amsterdam in 2009.

    STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) — An 84-year-old Stamford woman has died after she was struck by her own car.
    Police say the woman pulled into the driveway of a condominium complex at about 4 p.m. Tuesday and got out of the vehicle to talk to a neighbor.
