    WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to fully enforce a ban on travel to the United States by residents of six mostly Muslim countries.

    Troopers are reminding residents that the IRS does not contact residents over the phone to talk about tax payment issues.

  • Residents mount silent protest after capture of Amherst turkey

    AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — Some residents near the corner of Paradise and Klein roads in Amherst are mounting a silent protest.
    They miss Tom the Turkey, who guarded that intersection for the last few years.
    Amherst police worked with animal control officers to capture Tom and take him to a wildlife refuge in East Concord.
    There had been concerns that the turkey had become a traffic hazard, putting both drivers and Tom in jeopardy.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A world-wide initiative to clean up neighborhoods in need came to Buffalo Sunday.
    35 volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God partnered with the city to help beautify Broadway.
    They collected 109 bags of trash and up to 30 bags of leaves.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB)- The streets of a Buffalo neighborhood will get a whole lot brighter for the holidays.
    Around this time every year, members of B-Team Buffalo put on their signature City of Light event. The goal is to decorate a neighborhood in the city so that it shines to celebrate the season.
