    A small earthquake off of the coast of San Diego rattled several of Southern California’s beach cities and beyond early on Wednesday.
    The 4.3 magnitude shaker – centered nine miles south of San Clemente island, about 40 miles offshore – hit at 3:47 a.m. It was at a depth of 7.8 miles underground, according to the United States Geological Survey.

    LOS ANGELES — The leader and self-proclaimed apostle of La Luz del Mundo, a Mexico-based church with branches in the U.S. that claims over 1 million followers, has been charged with human trafficking and child rape, California officials announced Tuesday.
