This week, more than $16,000 in prizes was awarded as the top senior table tennis players in the country competed in the 2019 Meiklejohn North American Seniors Open Table Tennis Tournament in Laguna Woods Village. The four-day tournament, held at Clubhouse Five May 30 through June 2, featured 183 participants — 16 from Laguna Woods Village — playing in 30 events.

    COSTA MESA — Every player named Melvin on the Chargers’ roster will be present for next week’s minicamp, according to Coach Anthony Lynn.
