    Amid speculation that he might launch a presidential bid, Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti issued a press release today saying he plans to hold a City Hall news conference at 5 p.m.
    There were no more details about the conference, but for months Garcetti, a Democrat, has been rumored to be interested in running for president.
