    Fullerton High has hired former Nogales coach Richard Salazar as the head coach of its football team, the school announced Thursday.

    Anaheim Lions Club will host its 44th annual Charity Baseball Tournament beginning on on March 24.

    Alisha Glass-Childress was named head coach of Crean Lutheran’s girls volleyball team Thursday.

    A man was struck and killed by a Metrolink train on Wednesday, March 21, causing train delays throughout the evening.
    Just before the incident, at about 6:10 p.m., the 35-year-old man was standing on the tracks in the area of Brookhurst Street and Orangethorpe Avenue, police said. The situation is being investigated, but police say it appears to be a suicide.
