  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department says officers are on scene at 54th Street and Illiff Road, near Coors and I-40.
  A KRQE News 13 crew has witnessed police take four people into custody. Albuquerque police have also laid out spike strips, although the exact reason remains unclear.
  An APD Gang Unit is on scene.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – A Phoenix man has been sentenced to nearly six years in federal prison for heroin trafficking in New Mexico.
  The U.S. Attorney’s office for New Mexico says 25-year-old Rodolfo Rene Ley received a 70-month sentence Thursday in Albuquerque under a plea agreement.
  He will also be on supervised release for four years after serving his sentence.
