  CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) – Clovis police have released lapel video of an officer who was shot last week. Police say an officer pulled over 34-year-old Anthony Baca last week while he was on a bicycle.
  Anthony BacaBaca took off running and eventually shot the officer in the leg. After several days on the run, Baca turned himself in through a lawyer.

  AZTEC, N.M. (AP) – San Juan County authorities say a 4-year-old girl who fell into the Animas River north of Aztec on Monday has died, presumably from drowning.
  Sheriff’s Lt. Kyle Lincoln says the crew of the Sheriff’s Office helicopter spotted the girl, landed and started CPR, but Lincoln says the child was pronounced dead at the Farmington hospital.
