  The Albuquerque Journal reports that the Albuquerque’s rainfall total for the year was only 1.61 inches as of Thursday. The average for this point in the year is 4.47 inches.

  ROSWELL, N.M. (KRQE) – A New Mexico woman accused in the murder of a Roswell teen will spend nearly a decade behind bars. Jennifer Bevers and Steven Wayne Johnson are accused of fatally shooting 19-year-old Dominik Finch outside his home last summer.
  Bevers told the Roswell Daily Record that finch stole her gun and offered to sell it back to her for $400. They argued and that’s when Finch pointed the gun at Johnson and cocked the hammer.
