  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Police have identified the woman found dead in southeast Albuquerque over the weekend, she was a long time volunteer who helped the homeless.
  Officers responded to a neighborhood near Central and Wyoming after reports of a naked man in a parking lot. They found the man, Dante Mitchell, as well as the body of 59-year-old Janice Grandberry.

  ESPANOLA, N.M. (KRQE) – The bear cubs orphaned after their mother was shot in the Valles Caldera are doing better. Dr. Kathleen Ramsey is caring for the animals at a wildlife center in Española.
  She says each of the bears now weighs about 20 pounds.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez says more people last year visited New Mexico’s state parks than ever before.
  The governor is scheduled Wednesday to announce that around five million visitors dropped by state parks in 2015. State officials say that’s one million more than 2014.
