  Police say that 53-year-old Eloise Armijo was traveling southbound on State Road 68 when a vehicle pulled out in front of her. Armijo, who was on a motorcycle, struck the passenger side of the vehicle before the vehicle fled from the scene.

• Attorney accused of embezzling from client pleads not guilty

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Albuquerque lawyer accused of stealing $130,000 from a client has plead not guilty.
  According to online court records, Cody Kelley made his plea earlier this month. Kelly is accused of taking the money that had been awarded a client through a lawsuit.
  Kelley showed up for a scheduling conference last week on an embezzlement charge over $20,000, a second degree felony that carries up to nine years in prison.
  No trial date has been set.

  LUNA, N.M. (KRQE) – The lightning-caused Spur Fire on the Quemado Ranger District of the Gila National Forest that started Tuesday is now 1,021 acres.
