  Tourism officials announced Monday that the number of visitors coming to Orlando last year jumped 5.5 percent to more than 66 million visitors.

  MIAMI (AP) — The first cruise ship to travel from the United States to Cuba in decades has returned to Miami.
  Carnival Cruise Line spokesman Roger Frizzell says the Adonia returned to Miami Sunday, a week after it departed.

  SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) — One of two men hurt when a small airplane crash-landed in a Phoenix suburb has died, authorities said Sunday.
  Surprise police Sgt. Norm Owens said Joshua Merrill, 31, of Peoria, Arizona, died Saturday night while undergoing surgery. He could not say if Merrill was the pilot or passenger.

  GRANTS PASS, Ore. (KOIN) — A wrong-way driver slammed into a semi-truck carrying hydrochloric acid on I-5 north of Grants Pass in the very early hours of Sunday.
  The crash happened around 2:45 a.m. Sunday, ODOT said in a release. The crash caused the acid to leak onto the road, and hazmat teams were called in from Medford.
  Traffic was slowed in the area until 8:30 a.m.
