  It started at the Circle K at Coors and Quail early May.
  Police say a couple spotted Miguel Otero hitting his infant son.
  Investigators say Otero confronted the couple when he saw them staring and calling police.
  They drove off and Otero threw a rock at them.

  ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – On Friday, military service dogs, handicapped assistance dogs, including search and rescue dogs got their eyes checked for free.
  It took place at the Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center on Montgomery.
  This is the 9th year for the event that takes place across the U.S. Since 2008, more than 45,000 service animals have received free eye exams.

  Officer Julie Rogers was charged with battery after she was accused of aggressively shaking the hand of her son’s kindergarten teacher in Bosque Farms and then shoulder bumping her.
