  Fire officials say the fire is burning on Lupine Loop on Moon Mountain. Officials say the wind is blowing the fire away from the town.
  On Monday, schools in the area were evacuated as a precaution. However, firefighters say there is not imminent danger and the evacuation is just a precaution.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – On Thursday, UFC Fighter Jon “Bones” Jones had another run-in with the law.
  Jones was pulled over in Albuquerque Thursday night at about 11:45 and was told his citations at 12:04 into Friday.
  He was cited for drag racing near Central and Oak and having a loud exhaust among other citations.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Construction on the controversial Albuquerque Rapid Transit project has been pushed back.
  City Council recently voted to authorize more than $69 million in federal funding for the project but that didn’t come without heated debate. To incorporate some of the public’s requested changes, construction will begin in late July instead of May.
