  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Another Albuquerque school got a face lift. MacArthur Elementary School, near 2nd and Montano opened the doors to several new classrooms Tuesday.
  It cost about $2.5 million. The school added two new kindergarten classrooms as well as other rooms for early childhood development.
  This is the second elementary school this year to expand its kindergarten wing.

  WASHINGTON (AP) — Violent crime rose across in the country in the first six months of 2015 compared to the same period the year before, according to preliminary data released Tuesday by the FBI.
  The statistics show a 1.7 percent jump in the number of violent crimes reported by local law enforcement to the FBI, with increases in murder, rape, robbery and aggravated assault.
