  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The community continues to mourn the death of the 4-year-old Albuquerque girl killed in a road rage incident.
  Lilly Garcia’s death has been caused an outpouring of support locally and nationally.
  Some community members remembered her Thursday night during a candlelight vigil.
  There will be another one Saturday at Civic Plaza at 6:30 p.m.
  There is also one scheduled for the following day at the Family Worship Center.
  That begins at 6:30 p.m. as well.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – Nearly two months after he resigned as superintendent of Albuquerque Public Schools, the New Mexico Public Education Department has now approved the contractual buyout of Dr. Luis Valentino.

  “Pin-ups for Vets” visited with veterans Thursday morning at the VA Hospital. The non-profit is currently in the middle of a 50-state VA and military hospital tour.

  ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) – The Albuquerque Police Department has found a retired APD K-9 a new home.
  Nine-year-old Rex worked with APD since 2013. His handler was retiring and because he had a small child, could not take Rex with him.
  The department was looking into putting him down, then changed its mind and found a rescue to take him in.
  Rex arrived at the warrior dog foundation in Texas.

  A batch of signatures turned in Friday seeks a 2016 ballot question that would make Colorado the first state to opt out of Obamacare and replace it with universal health care.
