Bronygarth Bridge – near Weston Rhyn – will reopen to traffic from 4pm today [Friday 22 May 2026] following the completion of repair work.
The bridge was partially closed following Storm Bert in November 2024, which ultimately led to an emergency full closure. Investigations identified that the upstream headwall of a private culvert had become completely buried under approximately two metres of silt and stone debris.
