    A Second World War veteran will finally get the recognition he deserves when a commemorative stone is laid in his honour later this month.A ceremony will be held at Mansfield's Heroes Memorial in Carr Bank Park on July 22 to unveil the stone which recognises the work of driver Albert Henry Ward in the conflict.Mr Ward, who lives in Leeming Lane North, in Mansfield Woodhouse, joined the army for three years in 1929, before signing up again when war broke out in 1939.After serving in various...
