Sherwood MP Mark Spencer has been given a role in Theresa May's new Government as she completed her re-shuffle. The backbencher, who was first elected in 2010, said he was not intending on going for a high-profile role after reclaiming his seat in last year's general election. But as part of the shake-up of Westminster's ruling Conservative party, under the new leadership of Theresa May following David Cameron's resignation as Prime Minister, he will join the Whip's Office.
