    Drivers are being told to avoid the A46 between Newark and Farndon after what police have called a 'serious collision'.The arterial road is closed between Farndon and the A617 roundabouts.Police officers were called at 12.05 this afternoon and are still at the scene.A46 bypass between Farndon and Newark will be closed for some time due to an earlier accident.
