    One woman required treatment from the fire service after a blaze broke out at a home in Broxtowe. Crews from Stockhill fire station were called to the scene in Eltham Close shortly after 5.30pm on Thursday. The fire was started in the first-floor bedroom of the semi-detached house. Crews gave the woman oxygen treatment at the scene, and spent around 90 minutes tackling the flames and clearing smoke from the property.

    Two vans have been involved in a crash on Clifton Bridge.One of the drivers was taken by ambulance to the Queen's Medical Centre with injuries that were not thought to be serious.The collision caused severe congestion in the southbound direction, heading towards the A453, on Thursday morning.Police were called to the scene at 7.40am and blocked off one lane while a vehicle was removed.Nottingham City Transport reported it could cause delays to the Navy 48 and Grey 53 bus services.
